I have got to document my children's lives!

I have no baby books started, and barely ever even get a picture printed these days.  Therefore this blog needs to be updated way more regularly for the sake of my children.  We are already starting a fund for their future therapists (duh!), but let me at least post a pic or two and some stories for them to one day enjoy....

We did a family beach trip with Travis' family back in May 2014.  We flew to FL with three children and Bennett was pulled off in his wheel chair to be inspected by TSA - that will get daddy's blood boiling in about 3 seconds.

That said, we had an incredible week full of family memories with Travis' parents and Meredith and her family.  Also, we somehow survived the flight home where we literally almost missed our flight with 3 children, 1 stroller, 1 wheelchair, 6 carry ons and a grandma.  It was AWESOME.  Needless to say, we will not be flying again until 2020.  We are still recovering.

My sweet brother Chris married a lovely woman, Jen Gore, in October 2014 and they graciously invited Jackson and Reagan to be in the wedding.  It was the perfect fall wedding in Franklin, Tennessee, a fabulous family gathering, and a memory that we will never forget.

These two partners in crime are besties most of the time; and fighting like pit-bulls the rest of the time.  Reagan currently calls Jackson "Sassy" (short for Jacksy).  Both the youngest kiddies have had difficult times pronouncing their "J's" so we are just going with it.  Jackson called himself "Ga-Ga" well past age three and I was terrified he would never learn to say his own name....thankfully we crossed that bridge.  Little people, little problems.  Big people, big problems.

When the pediatrician looked at me and said, "Good Lord, this child is strong as an ox" while BOTH of us were trying to hold Reagan down to get her 2 year shots, it was good to get a little affirmation that I'm not a weak wimp.  Sister is STRONG and it takes all my strength to protect both her and myself at times (i.e. during epic tantrums)....her daddy was once called that as well around 18 months.  Birds of a feather flock together.

One Saturday during the summer of 2014 we did errands in the smaller family car and they were hilarious all 3 next to each other.  Peas in a pod.  Literally.

Baby girl turned TWO and Bennett turned SEVEN in August 2014.  We celebrated hard.  She got loads of presents from family and currently is obsessed with Minnie Mouse.  She loved Minnie the minute she laid eyes on her- she had never watched the Disney channel and we have no current plans to visit Disney, but Reagan loves Minnie (seen holding her below) and calls Minnie her best friend.  Bless.

Due to the generosity of family and friends, I rarely buy clothes for this girl- we are given SO MUCH.  But I got this outfit on major sale online and simply fell in love with it...give me a bubble with ruffles on the bottom and I am sold.

Angel boy partied hard as well - he blesses us daily and has a new teacher this year, Aaron.  We were super sad to not have Rob, his teacher from the previous two years, but thankfully he still gets to see Rob regularly.

Everyone at Bennett's school treats our boy so well and we continue to be incredibly pleased with his education experience - swimming every Monday, PT, OT, speech, PE, music, library, adapted computers, field trips, Valentines dances, and pep rallies are just a few things in this boy's life.

What a gift this boy is to us and all who know him.  Even his bus driver and bus aide say they have never met a child so happy- when that bus pulls up he starts kicking and dancing because he knows he is heading to his happy place...SCHOOL.
